St. Michael School

St. Michael School has a very extensive Parent Volunteer Program. The one thing we all have in common is the fact that our children go to a Catholic school and St. Michael's has been building tomorrow’s leaders for over 100 years. The community we create when we volunteer gives our children an experience that can’t be found outside of the Catholic school environment and we are very proud of that.

• All families are required to complete a minimum of 20 volunteer service hours each school year. 
  • or $800 total Buy-Out by September 11, 2022 
  • or $40 penalty for each volunteer hour not fulfilled

• Of those 20 hours, 5 can be applied to volunteer service for St. Michael Parish, St. Michael CYO, or Knights of Columbus events.

• All hours must be completed by May 1. Any unfinished hours will be billed in May. Please refer to your Family Contract for specific details. 

• All volunteers must complete the Virtus training every 4 years. Once completed, submit the certificate to the school office.

• Volunteers must be fingerprinted through Live Scan once during your time at St. Michael School. See the school office for details.

• All on-campus volunteers must be fully vaccinated and have thier vaccination records on file with the front office.

• All volunteers must honor the presence of Christ in each child and adult that you interact with, and respect the confidentiality of each student and faculty/staff member at St. Michael School.
