In addition to our core curriculum,
we offer enrichment classes in our primary grades and special resource
activities in elementary and middle school programs that correlate with the curriculum.
Middle school students participate in a departmentalized schedule which
includes small class instruction in English, Technology, Science and Math
courses.
Saint Michael
School offers many activities for student enrichment over the course of
the year. Students have the opportunity to participate in field trips
for cultural and educational offerings that are off site. On site opportunities
include nature programs, educational assemblies, and special classroom
activities pertinent to specific grade levels.
Families participate in many activities
during the school day. These include Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Day,
the Thanksgiving Feast, Grandparents / Special Person Day, and many other
individual grade presentations including Mission Day and Drama / Play presentation
programs.
Saint Michael Parish offers students
opportunities for service and athletics. Students serve as parish altar
servers, participate in various community service programs, and they join Boy
and Girl Scout troops, CYO basketball and CYO track and field teams all
of which contribute to healthy student growth and development.
