Academic Support

Saint Michael's individualized learning program offers additional instruction and practice in all subject areas, but especially in Reading, Phonics, Language Arts, and Math. We provide one to one and small group instruction for students who need academic support or reinforcement instruction. Students have more opportunities to read aloud, ask questions, receive individual attention, and participate more fully in learning activities. Teacher referrals determine a student's eligibility for these services.

We also provide initial screening for learning difficulties and make referrals for
further outside evaluation as needed.
