Grades K - 8
Our
Physical Education (P.E.) program is centered on acquiring life long physical
fitness goals where students learn from a young age how their body works
and in what ways they can stay healthy and strong. They learn fun activities,
challenging movements and obtain important wellness information that guides
them in making the right choices concerning their health.
Students participate in a positive learning environment through group activities
that reinforce our Catholic social teachings in promoting healthy bodies and
healthy minds. They are encouraged to realize their creative physical potential
through weekly P.E. sessions.
An
optional "zero period" is offered to students in grades five through eight.
Students have the opportunity to engage in physical activities before the start of the school day.
This added period stimulates the student's body and mental capacities as the school day begins.
