A departmentalized schedule of studies prepares the
students in grades 6 - 8 for high school. A team of seven
teachers provides a challenging curriculum, which
includes small class groupings for English and Math.
Classes are offered in fine arts, technology, drama, filmmaking,
art and P.E. The Physical Education program includes an
optional "zero period" before the regular school day begins.
A resource teacher and a school counselor complement
the middle school faculty.

Student activities include a leadership program
involving an elected student council and class
representatives. Throughout the year students coordinate
spirited school wide activities and opportunities to serve
others through an active outreach program. An outdoor
school program in grade six, Discovery Days for seventh
and eighth grades and school dances for grades 6 - 8,
provide social activities that encourage wholesome
student interactions.
Graduates enter local high schools in Livermore or
continue their education at one of the Catholic or private
high schools in the surrounding area.

Sixth
Grade
Sixth grade is the official beginning of the middle
school program. It is both challenging and
exciting, as students learn to navigate through the program they are preparing
themselves
for the challenges of high school.

Seventh Grade
Our religion program focuses on the life of Jesus Christ, the study
of the Gospels, the lives of saints, the structure of the Church,
prayer and the importance of our Catholic faith.

Eighth Grade
The unifying theme throughout the school year is the call to discipleship.
Students study and discuss how to live out the Commandments, the Beatitudes,
Works of Mercy, and the Catholic social teachings.
