Saint Michael School has former students attending various
high schools throughout the bay area and they go on to receive honor roll
standing in high school and college.
It emphasizes a strong foundation in basic skills. Our
teachers use differentiated teaching methods to meet the needs of individual
students and accommodate varied learning styles. These include direct
instruction, collaborative and hands-on learning activities, and the integration
of technology skills. Teachers also design their instruction to develop
critical thinking and help students become independent learners.
Appropriate grade-level homework and curriculum projects
build and strengthen excellent study habits. Our graduates leave Saint Michael
School well prepared to meet the new challenges of high school and college.
Saint
Michael is a Catholic School, and its prime function is to focus on teaching
Catholic values as well as to place a strong emphasis on basic skills
in all aspects of school life. On standardized tests, our students consistently
score above average in reading, language arts, math, science and social
