St. Michael School implements its Catholic Philosophy by praying daily in each classroom, in the morning, at noon and at dismissal; by saluting the flag and/or singing a patriotic song; by celebrating special Eucharistic liturgies each month; by planning special para-liturgical services during the religious seasons throughout the year; by providing the Rite of Reconciliation for the students; by teaching religion in each classroom daily; by communicating contemporary Church teachings and practices in our curriculum; by providing opportunities for each student to develop moral and value judgments through practical examples; by integrating a Family Life Program into the religion and science curriculums and the Second Step Program into the religion curriculum; and by developing a sense of community, stewardship and the need for an active response to global needs.
