Our Mission

Saint Michael School, founded in 1913 as an extension of Saint Michael Parish, is committed to providing quality Catholic education for the diverse students we serve. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered environment as a means to foster the growth of each student as a lifelong disciple of Christ.

Our Philosophy

Saint Michael School is an extension of the teaching ministry of the Catholic Church. We base our philosophy of education on the fundamental dignity and the uniqueness of the individual as created by God. We affirm that Catholic education encompasses the whole of human life. We endeavor to foster the intellectual and spiritual growth of the children in our care. We hope that our students will embrace Christian values in the context of our Catholic identity, experience true community during their time with us, and achieve both academic success and social well being. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. Only with their support can the teachers and the administrators of Saint Michael School help their students realize their potential, appreciate the global society in which they live, share in its responsibilities and challenges, and contribute to its betterment.
